Helium$6.74 6.56% Mobile has recently adjusted the rules regarding its cell plan's crypto rewards payouts as the surging price of MOBILE token has led to an increase in new signups, and quite a few suspicious accounts. The new subscribers must now wait for eight days before claiming any MOBILE tokens they stand to receive in exchange for their location shared through Discovery Mapping. The modification of terms took place on December 18th.

Subscribers using Discovery Mapping are currently earning over 2000 MOBILE tokens daily. Impressively, these earnings can cover Helium Mobile's $20 monthly subscription in just two days. The skyrocketing price of MOBILE, which has risen by over 2000% this month alone, has been a major factor in attracting thousands of new customers to Helium Mobile and its mapping service.

The revised rules aim to curb this manipulation of the system.
