Within just 24 hours after its early display on Tuesday, the much-anticipated trailer for GTA 6 crossed nearly 100 million views. Rockstar Games has verified the game's release for PlayStation 5 as well as Xbox Series XS, slated for 2025.
Twitch Influencer's Grand Offer for Early Access to GTA 6
Felix Lengyel, a well-known Twitch influencer, who is popularly known as 'xQc', has expressed eagerness to play GTA 6 much ahead of its global release. So much so that he's proposed to pay a whopping $1 million just for an early access to the much-awaited game. The influencer is associated with a significant Kick$0.016 -0.74% deal that could potentially earn him over $100 million.
Lengyel unveiled that he has been eagerly waiting for GTA 6 for almost a decade now. His anticipation to play the game has reached such lengths that he confirmed he would willingly pay $1 million or more to Rockstar Games to play it before its official release. In his own words, he expressed, "I'd probably pay like a mil to get it a day early. I'd give a mil. Boom. Straight up. Buy that" during one of his Twitch streams.
Not the First Offer for Early Access to GTA 6
Lengyel is not alone in his eagerness. Kick star Adin Ross has made a similar claim, stating that he would willingly pay half a million ($500,000) for an early access to GTA 6. In an astonishing revelation, Ross later claimed that he is part of the game and would be seen in subsequent trailers.
Predicted Earnings of GTA 6 on Launch Day
Analysts predict that the much-anticipated game, GTA 6, could earn a massive $1 billion in sales on the very first day of its launch. If these predictions hold true, the game could amass an astounding $8 billion in total global sales, surpassing all previous records to become the highest-grossing game ever. Its predecessor, GTA 5, managed to rake in $1 billion in revenue within three days of its release back in 2023. The forthcoming installment is expected to smash this record by hitting the same figure in just a single day.
