BRICS Union Impact: US Losing Allies in Crypto World

Uprooting the U.S. Dollar: The Role of BRICS

A considerable number of countries, including those from the BRICS coalition, are expressing strong disapproval towards certain U.S. foreign policies. These policies are seen as detrimental to their domestic economies and currencies. A common goal among these countries is to challenge the dominance of the U.S. dollar in international trade and financial transactions.

BRICS: Catalyst for De-dollarization

The question that arises is, what fueled this desire to dethrone the U.S. dollar? The answer lies with BRICS. This coalition, consisting of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, has served as a unifying thread, reinforcing the shared aspiration for de-dollarization among these countries. Notably, BRICS members China and Russia have been active in persuading other developing nations to minimize their reliance on the U.S. dollar and shift towards trading in local currencies.

The Impact of the De-dollarization Movement

China and Russia's efforts have proven successful. An increasing number of nations have agreed to decrease their dependence on the U.S. dollar. This has significant implications for numerous sectors within the U.S. that could potentially be affected if BRICS members and other nations decide to abandon the dollar for trade purposes.

Mending International Ties: A Challenge for the U.S.

Florida Senator Marco Rubio has voiced concern over the declining number of U.S. allies on the global stage. He warned that the growing influence of BRICS might lead to further divisions, putting the U.S. in a precarious position internationally.

Recommendations for the White House

Rubio emphasized the need for the White House to extend support to developing nations instead of imposing sanctions hastily. He applauded Argentina's President Javier Milei for refusing BRICS membership and choosing to align with the U.S. Rubio expressed that the current administration should respond positively to such gestures as allies are becoming increasingly rare.

According to Rubio, if these trends persist, it would become increasingly challenging for the U.S. to curb international violence and oppression through sanctions.
