Randy Alan George (born November 1, 1964) is a retired American general who rose to the top of the U.S. Army’s senior leadership. He served as the 41st Chief of Staff of the United States Army, taking office on September 21, 2023, and holding the position through 2026. In addition to his role as Army chief of staff, he previously served as the 38th Vice Chief of Staff of the Army, one of the service’s highest-ranking posts.
