Green Satoshi Token (GST) is the cornerstone of the STEPN project, an innovative Web3 lifestyle app that combines exciting social features and gamification elements. Launched by Find Satoshi Lab, an Australian-based fintech studio, STEPN utilizes GST as a replacement for experience points and in-app currency within its unique ecosystem.
Understanding Green Satoshi Token (GST)
Users of the STEPN platform, primarily known as players, earn GST through various physical activities such as walking, jogging, and running, all while equipped with unique NFT Sneakers. The GST earned can then be used by players for leveling up and minting new Sneakers, enhancing the overall gaming experience.
The Role of GST within STEPN
Players are encouraged to buy GSTs as they can be spent or burnt within the STEPN app. GSTs are minted by players as they move and lease their NFT Sneakers, and are burnt as players engage with the social and gamification components of the app, making GST an integral part of the STEPN experience. It should be noted that GST differs from GMT, the Governance Token of STEPN, which has a supply cap of 6 billion tokens.
STEPN - A Unique Web3 Lifestyle App
STEPN, created by Find Satoshi Lab, builds upon the concept of integrating physical activities with the crypto world. Players are given the option to lease or sell their NFT Sneakers within the app's Marketplace. All GST earnings of users are securely stored in the in-app Wallet which comes with a built-in Swap function, thus providing users with a seamless and secure environment for their crypto transactions.
The Team Behind STEPN
