Parrot USD $PAI

The Parrot Protocol is an innovative DeFi network engineered to make the value locked in DeFi systems accessible. Developed on the Solana blockchain, this protocol is designed to incorporate the stablecoin PAI, a non-custodial lending market, and a margin trading vAMM. The project aims to address the challenge of the value locked in DeFi systems, particularly LP tokens, by converting them into different yield generating tokens.

The Parrot Protocol

The Parrot Protocol strives to make the value locked in LP tokens accessible by creating a liquidity and lending network that uses these LP tokens as collateral. Currently, billions of dollars of value is locked in hundreds of DeFi systems, converted into different yield-generating tokens like Uniswap LP tokens or AAVE interest-bearing tokens. Unfortunately, there lack of use cases available for these LP tokens render them inaccessible due to their opaque risks and units of account unsuitable for human consumption.

Creation of PAI

The protocol aims to create the PAI stablecoin, backed by LP tokens as collaterals. This will establish a common unit of account to simplify transactions among holders of different types of LP tokens.

Parrot Lending Market

Another part of the Parrot Protocol's plan is to create a Parrot Lending market, which will take LP tokens as collaterals. This feature will enable LP token holders to access their locked value by borrowing against lender liquidity.

Margin Trading Product

Lastly, the protocol intends to develop a margin trading product (virtual AMM) using PAI as the common unit of account. This feature not only allows the Parrot community to collect fees but also sustains the project's operations and growth.
