MobiFi $MOFI

MobiFi, founded in 2021, is a pioneering Mobility as a Service provider that uses blockchain and tokenization for its operations. This decentralized project aims to unify public and private service providers, ranging from buses and trains to e-scooters, parking, EV charging, and more, into one comprehensive platform. With a unique reward mechanism powered by a smart contract, MobiFi incentivizes users to make environmentally friendly travel decisions while avoiding the constraints of traditional loyalty programs.

MobiFi’s Dual-Token Model

MobiFi operates on a dual-token system made up of SMile & MoFi tokens. The SMile token, developed by the R3 Corda enterprise blockchain, is tied to fiat currency and is used for payments within the mobility ecosystem. Within the MobiFi system, Corda-connected SMile tokens are minted through an internal reward model based on the scale of the mobility service market. On the other hand, the MoFi token follows Ethereum’s ERC-20 standard. This deflationary utility token is exchanged for SMile and subsequently burned to ensure an efficient token circulation for all stakeholders within the ecosystem.

MobiFi's founder Yudi Xu, an ex-CTO consultant at Shell and current MVP of Hedera Hashgraph, has an extensive background in IoT, Big Data, and Blockchain, as exemplified by his recognition at the Dutch Mobility Hackaton in 2019. The MobiFi team, comprised of over 10 members, brings together a diverse array of disciplines such as developers, engineers, designers, and marketing and business experts. This team is also bolstered by advisors renowned in the fields of blockchain, tokenization, banking, mobility, VCs, and more.
