The $ISK token serves three main functionalities within the Iskra ecosystem. Firstly, it is the sole currency allowed for the purchase of Pioneer NFTs post the sale of the initial 10,000 units. Secondly, it plays a pivotal role as a governance token, providing holders with the right to propose and vote on various initiatives directed towards the improvement of the Iskra platform. Finally, the token acts as a universal currency for all transactions, asset exchanges, and payments within the Iskra ecosystem, including transaction fees and charges for other services.

Circulating Supply of $ISK Tokens

The total supply of $ISK tokens is capped at 1 billion units, targeted to be distributed over a span of 20 years. As of September 2022, approximately 18 million tokens have been put into circulation. Moreover, the Iskra team has dedicated 20% of all platform fee revenue towards a Burning Pool, designed to periodically buy back and burn circulating $ISK tokens. This strategy aims at reducing price volatility and maintaining the token's value.
