EosDAC is a unique crypto project that operates as an ERC-20 standard token on the Ethereum blockchain. This decentralized autonomous community (DAC) is revolutionizing the way crypto tokens operate by transferring control and ownership to community members. The eosDAC tokens, which were developed by BlockMaker Ltd, represent the community members of eosDAC, and they will control the DAC once it is launched on the EOS blockchain.
EosDAC Token Supply
A total token supply of 1,200,000,000 eosDAC has been created by BlockMaker Ltd. The primary aim of these tokens is to represent the community members of eosDAC, who will control the DAC once it is launched on the EOS blockchain. eosDAC has plans to have its tokens listed on several major cryptocurrency exchanges to allow for greater user access and control.
Token Allocation
A significant 75% of eosDAC tokens, equaling 900,000,000, have been reserved for an airdrop to EOS token holders. At the conclusion of Day 300 of the EOS crowdsale, all EOS token holders with more than 100 tokens will receive 1 eosDAC token for each EOS token they hold. This transfer will be direct to their Ethereum (ERC20 compatible) wallet, and the airdrop will occur as soon as all necessary tests and checks have been conducted.
Airdrop Eligibility
All Ethereum accounts with 100 or more EOS tokens as of the snapshot on the 15th April will automatically receive the airdrop. Conversely, accounts with less than 100 tokens will not automatically receive the airdrop but can apply for eligibility until 15th May 2018.
Exchange Wallet Inclusion
eosDAC is set to include Crypto Exchange wallets in the airdrop, but users will need to verify with their exchanges whether they will distribute the eosDAC tokens to an eosDAC wallet under the user's control. If the exchange does not support this, users would need to transfer their EOS tokens to an exchange that supports the eosDAC airdrop, or to an Ethereum address for which they hold the private key. It is generally observed that most exchanges support airdrop distributions as long as they have an ample number of customers requesting them to do so.
