Crust Network $CRU

The Crust Network is a decentralized storage network and cloud solutions provider for both the Web 3.0 and Web 2.0 ecosystems. Built on Polkadot’s Substrate framework, it delivers an innovative incentive layer for the IPFS protocol. By leveraging blockchain technology, it enhances the security, privacy, performance, and ownership of data. Crust Network was launched in September 2021 and is now a thriving ecosystem with a storage capacity of around 2,300 PetaBytes supported by more than 7,000 individual nodes.

Crust Network Roadmap

The Crust Network integrates with many blockchains and provides a fully decentralized storage layer for Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, Solana, Near, Elrond, Heco and others. It has ambitions of extending its storage services to more networks, making its storage solutions available across all ecosystems. Some of the biggest blockchain projects, including Uniswap, AAVE and Polkadot Apps, already use the Crust Network for data storage or for hosting their websites and dApps through Crust’s infrastructure. In the future, Crust aims to provide more services for the Web3 and Web2 landscapes for projects and companies to utilize and build on. Crust's architecture also supports a decentralized computing layer, paving the way for a decentralized cloud ecosystem.
