Ripple's XRP Witnessing Downward Correction Despite Yearly Gains

The XRP$0.620 -1.68% token from Ripple has experienced a substantial dip in the weekly charts, recording a fall of over 9.1%. In addition, the digital currency has depreciated by almost 7% in the last month. Despite this, XRP has managed to maintain an upsurge of 65.5% since January 2023.

Analyst Predicts Potential Rally for XRP

Regardless of the recent downturn, crypto analyst Egrar Crypto sees potential for XRP to skyrocket by 40 times. Egrar Crypto points out that during the past cycle, XRP surged 20 times, despite Ripple being in a legal battle with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The analyst now suggests that with increased legal clarity, XRP could see a boost of 40 or 50 times.

Future Predictions for Ripple's XRP

Potential Growth with Legal Resolution

A 40 times increase from current figures could elevate XRP's price to approximately $11, constituting more than an 1800% growth. Meanwhile, a 50 times expansion could lead the token to $14, marking an increase of over 2350% from current levels.

The token, however, is currently in murky waters due to ongoing regulatory uncertainty, as the SEC vs. Ripple lawsuit is yet to reach a verdict in the high court. It is unlikely that the asset's price will soar to these highs without a high court ruling in favor. Ripple recently received a positive ruling from a district court, which stated that XRP sales to retail clients did not violate securities laws. If this stance is mirrored in the high court ruling, XRP's price could potentially see a significant surge.

Longer-Term Predictions for XRP

According to Changelly, XRP will not surpass the $11 mark until at least 2031. The platform also expects XRP to reach $14 between 2031 and 2032. Telegaon echoes similar predictions for XRP, envisaging the token to hit $10 in 2030 and $11 to $14 between 2030 and 2035. Nonetheless, if the market experiences a bull run similar to that of 2021 this year, Ripple's XRP may reach unprecedented highs sooner than anticipated.
