Neon on Ethereum Virtual Machine Announces Testnet Support for Alternative Tokens
On November 17, Neon, a scaling solution for Ethereum$2,315 -2.42% applications on Solana$104 5.03%, revealed their testnet's support for various tokens as gas fee payments. This is scheduled to become operational on the mainnet before this year ends. This marks a significant stride towards improving user experiences within the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) ecosystem. Users can transition tokens from Ethereum to Solana to use in Neon EVM decentralized applications or services, thereby circumventing the need for NEON. The multi-token gas payment solution accepts several tokens, including SPL, USDC, USDT, and SOL, giving users the flexibility to pay gas fees with their tokens of choice.
ZkLink Introduces Nexus, an L3 Bridge for L2 Ecosystems
On the same day, ZkLink, a blockchain solutions developer, launched Nexus$0.046 14.03%. This highly customizable, production-ready Layer 3 (L3) solution aims to bridge the gap amongst different ZK Rollup Layer 2 (L2) ecosystems to minimize liquidity fragmentation.
Union Labs Raises $4M for the Development of Zero-Knowledge Interoperability Layer
Union Labs, tasked with developing an efficient Zero-Knowledge interoperability layer, successfully raised $4 million in seed funding. The funds will aid in constructing the first fully trustless bridge connecting appchains, layer-1 and layer-2 networks. The capital is also allocated for the enlargement of Union's experienced team in anticipation of its impending mainnet launch.
Fhenix Plans Ethereum Rollups
On November 16, Fhenix, a 'confidential blockchain' developer, unveiled their plan to introduce FHE Rollups for enhanced privacy on Ethereum and similar networks. These rollups will allow for secure on-chain transactions and private applications, enabling developers to construct confidential Layer 2 networks while maintaining compatibility with Ethereum.
High-Speed Cross-Chain Network by DLN and BloXroute
DLN, a cross-chain trading infrastructure constructed on deBridge, has announced a strategic alliance with bloXroute, a DeFi performance provider. The goal of this partnership is to provide MEV searchers, institutional DeFi traders, and projects with super-fast intents-based cross-chain value exchange.
Kinetex Secures Strategic Investment to Build on Gnosis
Kinetex Network, a decentralized cross-chain trading platform, has closed a strategic funding round. The funds raised, a seven-figure sum, was led by Factor and Gnosis$194 -2.11% Chain. This partnership enables Kinetex to perfect its innovative approach to transferring liquidity between networks, eliminating the need for asset storage in pools, and leveraging zero-knowledge technology for validation without the need for third parties.
Nocturne Deploys v1 to Ethereum
Nocturne, a protocol that enables on-chain private accounts, has announced the successful deployment of Nocturne v1 to the Ethereum mainnet. This signals a key milestone towards an Ethereum that's more private and accessible. For the first time, users will have a compatible and easy-to-use product resembling a private onchain account.
