MYRO Memecoin Skyrockets by 488% on Solana (SOL) Platform

SOL-Based Memecoins: The Rising Stars of Crypto Market

SOL-based memecoins are presently some of the most profitable cryptocurrencies. In 2023, a SOL-based memecoin, BONK, saw a monumental 1300% increase in value from the start of the year, and currently, another SOL-based memecoin named MYRO is shaking up the cryptocurrency market.

Performance of MYRO

MYRO's value has seen an impressive rise of over 35% on daily charts, more than 104% on weekly charts, and surged by 488% in the past fourteen days. Since December 2023, this token has increased by an astounding 325.8%. The value of this SolanaSolana$104 5.03%-based memecoin has more than tripled in 2024, with its market cap recently surpassing the $100 million mark. At present, MYRO's market cap stands at over $115 million, and its trade volumes have topped $25 million.

The Origin of MYRO

MYRO's name was inspired by Solana co-founder Raj Gokal's pet dog, Myro. The token was launched on the SOL mainnet on November 11, 2023. It joins a line of other dog-themed cryptocurrencies like DogecoinDogecoin$0.091 -0.42% (DOGE), Shiba InuShiba Inu$0.000010 -2.05% (SHIB), and BONK, being the third-largest SOL-based memecoin after BONK and Dogwifhat (WIF). Investors have the option to purchase the asset on SOL-based exchanges such as RaydiumRaydium and OrcaOrca, or on other centralized exchanges like KuCoinKuCoin, HTXHTX, and MEXCMEXC Global.

The Surge of SOL-Based Memecoins

These SOL-based memecoins began to surge as SOL saw a significant price spike. SOL was one of the best-performing crypto assets of 2023, rallying almost 1000% throughout the year. MYRO's surge is likely attributed, in part, to SOL's gains.

MYRO's Future Plans

Moreover, MYRO intends to introduce a new staking program along with other utilities. Investors may be anticipating a price rise coinciding with the launch of the staking program. Regardless, SOL-based memecoins appear to be in a good position to challenge the memecoin dominancy of Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB).
