Google Introduces Latest AI Model, Gemini
Google has revealed the introduction of its newest and most advanced AI model, Gemini. Set to launch on Wednesday, Gemini is anticipated to rival the prominent AI software from OpenAI, ChatGPT. Google shares that the AI model will be available in three distinct sizes.
Applications and Accessibility of Gemini
Google has strategies to provide licenses for Gemini to clients via Google Cloud, allowing its use in various applications. Further, it has plans to utilize Gemini in powering its public-facing AI applications, such as the Bard chatbot and the Search Generative Experience.
Starting from Dec. 13, both developers and enterprise customers will be able to access Gemini Pro using the Gemini API in Google AI Studio. Notably, Android developers will also be given access to Gemini Nano$1.08 -0.96%.

In confirming the capabilities of Gemini, Google provided some practical instances. They demonstrated Gemini's ability to capture a screenshot of a chart and analyze hundreds of research pages, subsequently updating the chart.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai stated that Gemini is a product of large-scale collaborative efforts from Google teams, inclusive of their colleagues at Google Research. Built from scratch, Gemini is designed to be multimodal, implying its ability to comprehend, operate across, and integrate diverse types of information, including text, code, audio, image, and video, in a seamless manner.
