Bitcoin & Cryptocurrency Market Kick-off Bull Run: A New Beginning

Bitcoin (BTC) Surpasses $45,000 Mark Initiating Optimistic Predictions

This month, BitcoinBitcoin$42,260 -0.64% (BTC) soared beyond the $45,000 threshold, sparking a wave of bullish sentiments. But the general cryptocurrency market, including Bitcoin, experienced a downturn following the spread of rumors that the SEC may dismiss the BTC ETF. As a result, Bitcoin fell to $43,000 and has recently been trading in the red. Despite this, Brian Kelly, Founder, and CEO of BKCM, a Digital Asset Investment firm, suggested in a CNBC's Fast Money interview that several indicators imply the cryptocurrency market, especially Bitcoin, might be on the verge of a bull run.

Potential Cryptocurrency Market and Bitcoin (BTC) Bull Run in 2024

Kelly compared the cryptocurrency market with the stock market, emphasizing that the transition of mid-caps to large caps could indicate significant movement for stocks this year. He highlighted the correlation between the cryptocurrency market and the stock market, suggesting the potential for a future bullish phase.

Role of Stocks in the Cryptocurrency Market

When discussing stocks, we examine the market breadth and the expansion of the breadth to mid and small caps. This is typically a sign of a healthy bull market. We are currently witnessing this in the crypto sector. Hence, it's appropriate to mention names like PolkaDot, Cosmos (Atom), or even SolanaSolana$104 5.03%, Kelly noted.

Bull Market Expansion Indications and Predictions

All these indicators suggest that the bull market is expanding. The fundamentals are supportive, and I believe we are likely at the onset of this 12 to 18-month bull market. It should eventually extend to the remaining currencies.
