Egrag Crypto, a prominent crypto analyst, recently disclosed details of a conversation with a senior banking professional. The discussion revolved around Ripple's XRP$0.620 -1.68% token and its potential for exponential growth in the next decade.

XRP's Potential Value in the Next Decade

As per the banker's views, holding XRP for a decade could lead to remarkable profits, with the possibility of each token reaching $2,500. The banking expert stimulated a dialogue in which Egrag Crypto was asked to explain how a holding of 40,000 XRP could escalate to $100 million. The analyst referred to the token's ten-year longevity, stating that to reach such a vast sum, each XRP token would need to be valued at $2,500.

This proposition aligns with the Ripple CTO David Schwartz's prediction regarding 40,000 ETH gaining a value of $100 million. The banker also proposed the theory that XRP seems to be following a pattern similar to that of 2013-2017, albeit at a stretched timeline.

Despite this valuable insight, the identity of the banker and their associated firm remain undisclosed.

Estimates Suggest XRP Could Value at $2,500 by 2027

Based on the banker's calculations, XRP could potentially reach $2,500 per token by the year 2027. But, how much of XRP would one need to hold to become a millionaire if it reaches this value? To build such wealth, an investor would need to hold 400 tokens, which are currently priced around $256.

Prospective Role of XRP as Bridge for CBDC Projects

Beyond its potential for financial growth, Ripple's XRP token has been the center of discussions regarding its use as a bridge for Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) projects. If XRP were to be adopted in such a capacity, its usage could surge, thereby boosting its price.

Certain analysts and influencers have even suggested that XRP might break the $10,000 barrier if it is used as a bridge currency. This proves that although the projected growth of over 390,000% may seem gargantuan, it is not an unheard-of phenomenon in the crypto world.
